Your client judges the job partly by how the paperwork turns up. A PDF lost in an email thread, a print, sign and scan request, and a bank transfer they have to key in themselves all say busy. One link that opens under your business name, reads cleanly on a phone, and lets them sign in the same place says you run a tight operation. Card payment in that same place is coming soon.

Urban Pulse is an Australian construction platform: check what a site allows, build the planning pack, get quotes from trades, send contracts and reports for signing, and run the build. Payments & Finance is coming soon.

Handover report: bathroom renovation

Opens in a new tab.

Example screen: a report you send to view, in the Client Portal under your name. The business and the report are made up.

It opens under your trading name

Your client taps a private link made just for them. There's no password to set, no app to install and no account to create before they can read what you sent.

The first thing they see is your trading name with your initial beside it, so they know who it's from before they read a word. Set your trading name once in your company profile and every document you send carries it.

They read it and sign it wherever they are

Read it first opens the document itself. When they're ready, Review & sign takes them to the signing page under the same link, on a phone or a laptop.

They type their name, draw their signature with a finger, or upload the signature image they already use, and they see exactly what they're signing before they confirm. The moment they sign is stamped on the record, on their side and on yours.

You both see the same record

Above the document sits its record: sent, first viewed and signed, each stamped with the time it happened. Your client sees the same history you do, so nobody rings around to ask whether it arrived.

If they have a question, they can leave you a note right there on the page, and it comes to you.

Reports handed over properly

Not everything needs a signature. Send a finished report to view and your client gets a Client Portal page under your name, with one clear button that opens it in a new tab. Nothing to sign and nothing to pay, just the report, ready for your client to open and act on.

how it works for your client

From your link to a signature, in three steps

For documents sent for signature

step 1

They open your link

A private link, made for them. No password, no app and no account to create.

step 2

They read it

Your trading name at the top, its record, and the document one tap away.

step 3

They sign it

Typed, drawn with a finger or uploaded, on a phone or a laptop, checked before they confirm.

For documents sent to view: your client can read and download it without signing.

questions we get asked

What business owners ask

Does my client need an account?

No. The link you send is theirs, and it opens the document without a password or an account, whether they're reading it, signing it or viewing a report. Clients join the Client Portal by invitation from the business, and that's a separate step from opening a document you send.

Can my client sign on their phone?

Yes. The signing page works on a phone or a laptop. They can type their name, draw with a finger or upload a signature image, and they see what they're signing before they confirm.

What does my business look like on the page?

Your trading name sits at the top with your initial beside it. It comes from the trading name in your company profile, so you set it once and every document carries it.

How do I know my client has seen it?

The record on the document shows when it was sent, when it was first viewed and when it was signed. You see the same record your client does.

Look the part on every send.

Leave your work email to register interest. We'll email you when you can start sending under your own name, and you set up your account then.
